Our refinishing coatings are two part coatings, base and catalyst, and are best applied with HVLP, high velocity low pressure, spray equipment. Best equipment is manufactured by Graco or Wagner/SprayTech. We are a distributor for Graco. These coatings do NOT produce their best results when either 'rolled on' or 'sprayed through a conventional sprayer'. This equipment can be easily RENTED for around $35 for do-it-yourself, DIY, jobs. What if I want a custom color? Our refinishing kits come in Gloss white, but they are also available in Bone, Almond, China White (Porcelain white), or clear. We offer a tint kit for professionals which comes with our Color matching procedures. Finally, we will match any custom color for an additional charge of $25. My tub came out with some 'rough spots' or is not as 'glossy' as I expected? Our new technology coatings dry so quickly that sometimes, overspray or dry spray, fall back down on the newly refinished surface and create rough spots or reduce the gloss. Lightly sand with 1000 grit sandpaper and apply a 'hand rub' polymer polish like Maguire's Sho Car Glaze # 7 which can be found at any AutoZone or similar auto parts retailer.
